The sporting life is great at Modern School Vasant Vihar. We aspire to develop Sports Quotient along with IQ and EQ and try to breed individuals who are physically, mentally and spiritually fit and not just E-mortals. Whatever your preference, from traditional outdoor sports like Cricket, Soccer and Basketball to the challenge of indoor games like Chess and Table Tennis, every student is encouraged to take part in various Sporting activities and competitions at the inter-school, zonal and national level. KeshniBhasin (VI A) stood 1st in u-13 category in a chess competition by Delhi Chess Association on 24-4-2011. In the same competition, she participated in u-15 category as well and secured the 2nd place

Akash Deep Nain (XII A) – Selected to represent Delhi State for Nationals, held in Goa from October 27, 2011 to November 7, 2011.
Badminton
Raghav Aggarwal : Won DDA Tournaments in 2009, 2010. Zonal – Semi final 2009 3rd Round 2010. Winner - MSVV Tournament.
Veer Taneja : Won Friends Club Tournament 2009 and 2010. Zonal – Semi final 2009 3rd Round 2010. Winner - MSVV Tournament.
Equestrian
IshanGadhoke - National Equestrian Champion in Under-15 Category
IshaanGadhoke - Runners up in Delhi Horse Show.
Squash
Abhishek Kumar – Delhi Open 2008 Winner. Represented Delhi in U-15 team at National level tournaments in 2008, 2009 and 2010; and attained 3rdposition in the 2010 tournament.
Air Pistol Shooting
Kartikeya Sethi (XI A) – Participated and won commendable positions in various State / Zonal / National level Air Pistol Shooting championship in 2011.
