Cricket - 23rd to 27th July 2007
Vinayak Lall of class X-D has been selected from Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association for under 17 nationals camp from 23rd to 27th July, 2007. Last year he represented Himachal Pradesh in under 15 nationals. He attended the under 15 north zone camp from 19th April to 20th May, 2007 organised by the Indian Cricket Association.
National Tournament of Basket Ball - 3rd July 2007
Radhika of XII C participated, as a team member, in the National Tournament of Basket Ball and represented Delhi State (UNDER 19). The team stood second. She was awarded a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of 1500/- by the BFI. Delhi administration also felicitaed her with a cash prize of 8400/-. Her achievement was landed by the Principal.
Taekawondo 2007
Principal, Fateh Singh Gujral of Class I participated in the 1st International Taekwondo championship and stood 3rd in the sub-junior category. He was awarded a bronze medal.
Fateh Singh Gujral has recently been awarded Black Belt from Kukkiwon School, Korea.
Golf Tournament - May 2007
Principal, Mrs. Goldy Malhotra gave away the prizes to various students who won golfing events. These prizes were given in the putting and chipping categories. The events were organized by the Modern School golf academy.
Vardaan Vaisoha of class V-A awarded the 1st position in 'Long Drive event' of Golf in May, 2007. He also received a certificate of merit for junior training camp by the Delhi Golf club.
Chess Tournament - 16th to 18th May 2007
In a State level Chess tournament held at Delhi, our school was awarded the 1st position in under 19 category and the 3rd position in under 10 category. The school also won the over-all trophy.
Yatin Arrarwal of class II - C was awarded 41st position in Chess Competition (under 9 Open) organized by Delhi Chess Association from 16th to 18th May, 2007. He also secured 4th position in 'Brain Games' organised by Chess Academy affiliatificate of merit in the under 14 category for being the Quarter Finalist in the single event organized by the AITA 7 NTA in the AITA talent series tournament.
Raghav Lakhotia of class IX will participate in the Asian Circuit Tennis Tournament scheduled to be held between August and November 2007. He will play in Malaysia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Phillipines, South Korea and Bahrain.
